About Clearmatics Clearmatics is an IT and financial protocol engineering company. We are building a new financial market architecture that is more open, fair, and resilient than the legacy systems that are in use today. Working in a start-up environment with an international team means there is always something new happening and an exciting challenge around the corner. We’re looking to hire an Operations Assistant to expand our Operations team. Although this role is predominantly remote, the successful candidate will need to be based within commuting distance of our London office for special ad-hoc projects or occasional tasks that require physical presence. Job description You will work with the Head of People to support the smooth running of key business operations in the areas of Finance, HR, Recruitment, Workspace Management, Business Systems Administration and Social Events. This role is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on with all aspects of Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be proactive and not afraid to get their hands dirty, have an eye for detail, and an interest in Blockchain. RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide support for all operational matters, ensuring processes run as smoothly as possible. Providing HR support to the Head of People, such as onboarding and drafting HR documentation. Assist with putting invoices into our accounting software, Xero. To track and manage the company’s hardware assets and other property, including laptops General administrative support such as venue booking, travel booking, agenda planning and more Support in the recruitment process
Excellent fluency in English (written and spoken). Outstanding people skills A pro-active ‘can-do’ attitude Excellent, proven administration skills and attention to detail Exceptional organisational skills Inherent interest and motivation to find better solutions, efficient shortcuts, pragmatic approaches, whilst balancing those with commitment to excellence, and consistent and reliably high quality outcomes and outputs 1-year + of experience in a similar assistant/operational role (preferred)
